Serve
Jesus said, “I have come to serve, not be served….” We seek to do the same. We believe everyone has a ministry to the body and a mission to the world. Below are a number of ways to serve locally and globally, within our church, our community, and world. Discover what God might be looking to do in you and through you.

Haiti Haiti is considered the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and 3rd poorest in the world. Its people are continually plagued by hunger & malnutrition, high unemployment, rampant illiteracy, disease, political corruption, and regular devastation from natural disasters. Pastor Isaac Jacquet, our mission partner in the Jeremie district, has brought over 20 orphans into his own home, and is trying to build an orphanage to care for even more. Here he seeks to provide them with an education and medical care, feed them, give them the love of a family, and teach them about the hope of Jesus. To engage in relief efforts, see LutheranChurchCharities.org. Contact Becky Williams at BeckyMarieWilliams@hotmail.com for information on other ways to serve. To offer financial support, make checks payable to: Haitian Mission Project. To receive tax credit for your donation, send to: Sue Gross, Christ Lutheran Church. 14700 94th Ave. Orland Park, IL 60462. For additional information contact Sue at: Gamco144@aol.com. |

International Teams Refugee Ministry More than 1,000,000 of Greece's 11,000,000 residents are refugees and ethnic minorities, most of them living in the greater Athens area. They include Albanians, Arabs, Poles, Iraqis, Iranians, Ukrainians, Filipinos, Kenyans and Ethiopians. Fellowship of Faith is in partnership with Heather Wickstrom, an International Teams missionary, who will be deploying to Athens this Fall, reaching out to Muslim women. International Teams in Athens is striving to be a strategic off-ramp on the Refugee Highway by creating multicultural communities of Spirit-led ambassadors for the Kingdom, partnering with the local church to minister to the holistic needs of refugees, nurturing them and sending them out as dispensers of hope. Contact Heather Wickstrom at Heather.Wickstrom@iteams.org, or visit www.HeatherinAthens.com. |

To help volunteer or request help in ministering to someone with a developmental disability, contact: Jana Peters at Jana@voiceofcare.org, or visit www.voiceofcare.org. |
