Meet the Staff
There are three groups of people who lead Fellowship of Faith: the staff, elders, and board of directors. Their goal is to provide direction to the ministries, mission and character of Fellowship of Faith as we strive to help people become devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Our staff is made up of paid and unpaid individuals who oversee and lead the ministry areas of Fellowship of Faith.
Dave is responsible for charting the course of Fellowship of Faith and leading it in accomplishing its mission. Along with the elders he oversees the spiritual health of the church, and the day-to-day operations of the staff.
Dave is a Chicago native, and his wife, Tina, is from Indiana. They met at Valparaiso University, where Dave earned a degree in History. He later graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
Dave's heart is for people who are spiritually hungry yet disillusioned with church. He thinks he has a sense of humor (yeah, but it's weird), and loves nothing more than helping people get lost in the Biblical text. He likes to work out, read, dead languages, and rock climbing.
Dave and Tina have been at Fellowship of Faith since 2003. They have three kids.
Children’s Ministry Director
Becky directs The Rock Children's Ministry for toddlers through 5th grade.
Becky started as a ministry volunteer, and showed such a heart and commitment for helping kids meet Jesus as kids that she eventually was hired to direct the entire ministry. In the process she birthed The Rock, the children's ministry at FOF today. Becky has a creative flair and a heart for kids. In her former life she managed a catering and party planning firm in the Chicagoland area.
Becky is a McHenry native. She and her husband Shane have been with Fellowship of Faith since its beginning. They have two kids.
Pastor of Student Ministries
Jason directs Fuse Student Ministries for students 6th - 12th grade.
Jason was born in New York and raised in Hong Kong, after which he returned Stateside to pursue a degree in Computer Science from Valparaiso University. While working in the McHenry area, he completed a masters in Computer Information Systems, but came to a point where he could no longer ignore God's beckoning to a new calling. In 2007 he came on staff at FOF doing freelance missions. He has since served all around the world.
Jason was accepted into the Specific Ministry Pastor Program at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and is now serving FOF as a pastor leading Fuse Student Ministries. He enjoys cooking, reading, movies, and riding his motorcycle. He attended Fellowship of Faith since its beginning.
Executive Director + Worship Ministries
Mark joined the FOF team in 2012 to oversee and direct the live production and execution of worship and events. His desire is to glorify God by helping people He loves so dearly live the words of John 4:23, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."
In his former life Mark was a programmer for Motorola and co-founded ePublishing.com, after which he went into full-time ministry, serving as Worship Director for The Chapel in Grayslake. Mark is an avid reader and web applications developer, enjoys writing and music, digs on sushi and fire, and is prone to stop at historical landmarks on roadtrips. It is not uncommon to find him dancing with his wife and three children late at night on the kitchen counter.
Spiritual Formation Guide + Adult Ministries
Keith directs the spiritual formation process at Fellowship of Faith. This includes helping people formulate intentional plans for growing in their relationship with Christ, developing curriculum, and directing discipleship groups and classes.
Keith previously served as program director for a Christian outdoor ministry where he was in charge of developing and leading its spiritual direction and programming. Since then he has written a book and several curriculums on intimacy with God and the spiritual disciplines.
Keith is from Oklahoma and believes the banjo is the greatest instrument ever made. His wife Jana is a deaconess with Voice of Care, a ministry to people with developmental disabilities. They have been at Fellowship of Faith since 2007.
Worship Logistics + Data Management
Charlynda wears a number of hats at Fellowship of Faith. She manages church data as well as Sunday Morning Operations. She likes to describe herself as a “behind the scenes worker bee.”
Charlynda has recently retired from education where she spent 8 years teaching and 16 years working as a media specialist and technology manager. She is an avid knitter and reader. She enjoys anything that involves creating with fabric or fiber, and working with plants. She believes that, as we move through life, God puts people and experiences in our paths to help us grow spiritually and she is excited that FOF has become part of her spiritual journey.
Arthur is the funnel and filter for FOF's publications. He's the man if you want it published.
Arthur has been attending FOF since 2003. He loves books & movies (especially fantasy and sci-fi), hates twinkly vampires, and delights in having his picture taken. Talk to Art for 17 proven ways to avert a zombie apocalypse.
Business Manager + Properties
Sue manages the day-to-day financial and property operations of Fellowship of Faith. Contact her with any financially-related questions.
Sue has been with FOF since its inception in 1999, serving in dozens of capacities since that time. She has a BS in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration. She lives in McHenry with her husband, Glenn, and has 2 grown children.
Steve keeps FOF clean.
Steve was born and raised in the Canal Zone in Panama and is a graduate of Indiana University. He met Christ through his mom, who was evacuated from New Orleans due to hurricane Katrina. Her insistence is what first brought him to FOF.
Steve wants to ask God why the Yankees can't win the World Series every year. "Laissez les bons temps rouler."
